Nadine Nelson Manning, AMFT
Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT161672)
Nadine is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, currently working toward licensure in California.
She works with teens, adults, and seniors who are experiencing anxiety, depression, overwhelm, loneliness, anger, and uncertainty about their place in the world. Many of her clients feel disconnected from themselves, stuck in survival mode, or longing to live more authentically and purposefully. They often seek deeper relationships, greater alignment with their values, meaningful work, and a sense that their lives can create positive impact and lasting change.
In addition to supporting emotional and relational healing, Nadine also works with individuals navigating chronic illness, cancer, grief, fear of death, and end-of-life concerns. As a survivor of breast cancer and meningitis, she brings both lived experience and deep compassion to this work, offering a grounded and understanding presence for clients facing medically and existentially challenging seasons of life.
Nadine’s therapeutic approach is rooted in existential therapy, supporting clients as they explore questions of meaning, identity, purpose, and how life’s struggles can be transformed into wisdom, resilience, and growth. She holds the belief that symptoms are not signs of failure, but meaningful signals pointing toward deeper healing and self-understanding.
She integrates multiple modalities to meet each client’s unique needs, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic approaches, and trauma-informed care. Her work is collaborative and individualized, supporting clients in reconnecting with themselves and moving toward a more intentional and authentic way of living.
Clients often experience Nadine’s approach as warm, present, and deeply attuned. She strives to create a therapeutic space where individuals feel safe to explore their experiences honestly, reconnect with what matters most, and move forward with greater meaning and clarity.
